Dearys: R3- A painted house

The following entry is compiled from ‘The Life of a Deary’ a journal (hopefully also a future memoir) of Piper Deary.

Parenthood can really turn someone into a robot, trust me on that. I wake up automatically at the same time everyday and at the right time to breast feed Sara and get Sean out of the crib before he demonstrates his screaming skill. Ty was becoming a robot as well, he would wake up around the same time to cook our breakfast, and his cooking is getting better than mine.

Thank god when Sara finally became a toddler, no more changing diapers. I kept her hair long and tie it into a nice bun but Ty seriously hated it. I don’t care and Sara seems to like it, that’s a mother’s job to doll up the daughter .Our house is getting really small for two toddlers to crawl around, and believe me the two little monsters is not the type to stay in their nursery all day. They are either stalking me or get into the toilet and get themselves wet and stinky.

You can imagine my happiness when Simone dropped by and offered me and Ty to manage the new schoolroom. I was trying so hard not to squeal and said yes straight away when Simone approached me. I told her to talk to Ty and explain to him about this whole thing. I can say yes right away and I’m sure Ty wouldn’t object to it, but you know sometimes you got to let the man felt as if his opinion matters. Well of course he said yes, Simone’s persuasion skill is rather good. Almost no one can say no to her.

We move in not long after that. A house with painted walls and fully furnished! I was ecstatic! Not just me even the two little monsters are happy, they even hugged each other with that cute smile on their face! One of the reasons they are so happy might be because of the castle wallpaper or the fact that they no longer need to share a potty (must be the territory thing). Ty was happy that his two little monsters finally have enough space to flex their little muscle.

The rent is a bit steep for Ty though, $300 per day, no worries I had thought, Ty is moving pretty fast in the world of journalism. Plus after the schoolroom function fully, we will be exempted from tax. It seems pretty good to me.

Since our closest neighbor is Simone, she often drops by to have lunch with me. I don’t mind cooking nice meal for her; I actually enjoyed talking to her. Our recent hot topic was about Erica’s sudden move to Crystal’s. The only bad thing was that I had to mince my words when it comes to Crystal (that bitch!), I know Simone is rather close to her.

Never ever play games when you at work, even if it is lunch time. Ty learned that in a hard way, he got demoted when his boss saw him trying out one of those new games. He figures that Ty was not passionate enough in his work (what a lousy excuse!). It broke my heart to see Ty crying over that. Thank god, no one is near our house when he broke down (he will be the next hot topic to be discuss).

After Ty got demoted money was pretty tight so we didn’t organize a birthday party for Sean. Thank god he doesn’t mind and grew up to be such a nice looking lad just like his dad.

Ty thinks Sean is a bit odd as all he ever talks about was traveling (cruise liner and plane trip to exotic places?) and he is obsessed with doll house Ty bought for Sara. I think my son is alright even if he refused to play with the toy cars, my only complain of him was his table manners, that boy eat like a savage!

It was rather obvious Ty favors Sara more than Sean. He was always spending time with her and Sara likes to follow him around as well. But I’m the one who ended up teaching that little princess to speak proper simlish, you have no idea how long I take to teach her to speak properly. One thing still irked me though, she still likes to play with the toilet bowl, and I swear if I ever find her in the toilet again I’m going to spank her little butt!

Thank god Sean is now a sensible child; he listened attentively to the lessons I gave (on that ridiculous looking podium) and catches up rather quickly when I teach him Mathematics. Phew, I sure hope the future students will be as easy to handle as him.

Sheesh that is a good way to teach human anatomy, you two! Get a room, not the living room with your young daughter here!

James Passion’s secret identity: The newspaper snatcher. He steals newspaper every day. That old man was taking his evening stroll when he saw James running away with the evening news. Somehow, the newspaper turned invisible when he started running. I wonder what will Simone says when she discovers his secret obsession. Time to change a new husband I say.

PS: Hopefully in round 4 we can see the school filled with brats. The house really belong to Simone as I have her bought it with Simlogical’s Sims 2 Lot Income Rights, the Dearys have to pay $300 everyday.

Thanks for reading!

LMAO! That was the best part ever….:D Yeah what a lousy husband for Simeone…I mean stealing newspapers? Geez! ;)
The baby hug is REALLY cute!!!!! :) :) :)

karen: I love Acr but sometimes it make sims do some rather inappropriate stuff in front of their kids, but somehow it added some comedic twist to the game. James is really obsessed with stealing newspaper! His relationship with Ty is ok but why he only target his house? I don’t know. Yeah, I can’t resist taking a pic of that two little monsters hugging!!
