Jacksons: R3- An extra bed
Finally an update! My pc had been acting out lately so it had take a while before I can play the neighborhood. And somehow after all the hassle I had forgotten to adjust the graphic card setting, until I edit the pics for the island. Sorry for the lousy quality of the pictures for this update and the other coming 5 updates. I discovered that I am lousy at planning economy so Passion Island will be more like a Prosperity challenge but I still enforce tax and other fees that I have stated in the General Game Play post.
For once after living in Passion Island quite a while, Crystal finally felt contented with her life. She spend most of her day painting and napping happily although her expanding belly make her looked like a whale on dry land.
Until one fine morning, 7 o’clock to be precise, her new bff Erica Regan knocked on her door with a face that look like someone just ran over her puppy. She begged Crystal to let her move in; her excuse was she will go crazy if she continue living with her workaholic+ tv addict husband. Of course Crystal said yes albeit reluctantly, who could shut her best friend out in early winter days?
Not wanting to see Xander Regan the big shot lawyer call the police about his wife and maid disappearance, Crystal decided to send an instant message to Xander at his work place telling him that she had requested for his wife to stay with her until the end of her pregnancy. To her big surprise he sent a simple ‘Ok’ reply to her in merely a few seconds after receiving that message.
‘What kind of husband is that?’, Crystal had wondered when the reply she get was totally different from what she expected.
Another surprise awaited Crystal when she discovered that her best friend was worshipping her toilet’s cheap plastic toilet bowl every morning. Crystal was certain her buddy was pregnant at the time she gently asked Erica the question but her question was replied with a curt ‘No’.
‘Who is she trying to fool anyway?’, Crystal thought to herself not wanting to upset Erica more.
Although Crystal had not said anything about rent (she was certain Erica was broke) or helping around the house to Erica, she woke up 6 in the morning to clean and cook breakfast every day. Erica had pretended she was fine and not missed her husband but Crystal always caught her eating alone with that sad puppy face that Crystal find pitiful.
Why did women mourn for heartless men?
‘Why did you order two new single beds? I’m ok sleeping with you on the same bed,’ Erica had demanded to know as she knew Crystal’s financial status aren’t doing well.
‘Two pregnant women on that cheap wooden bed are going to break it for sure; I don’t want to end up on the floor when it breaks,’ Crystal replied nonchalantly.
‘I am not pregnant!’ Erica insisted.
‘Oh yeah? If that big belly wasn’t proof of pregnancy then you must have a bad case of constipation!’ Crystal countered and her answer had leave Erica with no room for denial. She is pregnant.
Erica thought long and hard about the future of her unborn child that night. She had considered moving home, she was sure Xander will be happy but she decided against it. Xander would be happy and treat her well just because she is pregnant, after the birth of their baby she would be neglected again. So she decided to change her image (still kept her hair long because Xander like it) and working harder in writing culinary articles to earn more money (to finally pay rent). Can’t just depend on men.
‘Why don’t you call Alex and inform him you are going to hospital tomorrow?’ Erica suggested when she suspect Crystal doubted whether to inform the father of her child of her impending delivery.
Crystal said nothing but after several minutes she picked up the phone and called Alex while secretly praying he wasn’t home. But he was at home and he insisted to follow Crystal to Aloha Maternity Centre. Crystal went through the delivery without much problem except that she had a pair of twins. She had thought she was going to have a baby girl but she bring home a boy and a girl, Andrew and Ariel Jackson.Crystal rejected Alex’s offer to build her a new nursery room after he insisted to pay child support $200 per child every two/three days. So the twins ended up sleeping in the corridor.

‘Just go ahead and accept it,’ Erica said.
‘Accept what?’ Crystal replied glumly
‘The job, idiot. I’ll take care of the kids. No argument!’ Erica demanded and Crystal reluctantly accepted her job and leaves her children under her care.
Living on the same street with her husband does nothing to help Erica conceal her pregnancy. Xander had seen her taking the trash out one morning and beginning to call everyday to persuade her back to their marital home. His incessant calls had leave Erica with a frazzle nerve and probably loss of cooking skills as well, she kept burning breakfast, lunch and dinner!
One night Erica woke up screaming her head off as she went in to labor 3 weeks earlier than expected, she gave birth in the house with a panic Crystal by her side. She nearly fainted after the process not from exhaustion but from the sight of four babies crying on the floor. She just had quadruplets, 3 boys and 1 girl.
Crystal said nothing but called Alex to help her build a new nursery fit for 6 babies.
‘I think we can open a child care centre now,’ Crystal joked.
‘Great, we can cram in more babies and when they cry the whole island can hear them,’ Erica replied sarcastically.
Erica was probably right, as her husband had knocked on the door the next week after hearing babies crying. He was certain that was not the noise made by two babies. And like Erica he nearly had a heart attack when he saw his four babies. He look around a bit confused for a few seconds before his proud father instinct kicked in and went to crib to crib to kiss his new born kids.
‘Have you given them names?’ Xander asked hoping his wife hasn’t named any of his children yet.
‘I haven’t register their name with Simone yet. I was still weak and tired to do that,’ Erica replied not looking at her husband.
‘Then let me name them, the little guy at that yellow crib is Dean, the pretty girl next to him will be Denise and the hungry one you are feeding will be Damian and that strong looking one at that crib will be Danzel!’, Xander said feeling proud and excited. Erica gave a polite smile and put Damian back to his crib when Xander suddenly came up to her and gave her a kiss.‘Thank you my dear for all your trouble and pain, thank you for giving me the best gift ever,’ he said caressing her face.
Family fund: $6005
PS: When Crystal gave birth to twins I was already mortified and when Erica gave birth to quadruplets I nearly died from heart attack. When I checked their stats, it was stated one baby for both of them. This household will give me more headache later, 6 babies? Erica move in to crystal’s after I get a move out scenario from a random event generator ( random stuff generator from Maty). A great coincidence since Xander and her marriage was rather rocky so I decided to move her in with Crystal. I’ll only state the amount of family fund left after each round each household from now on except for Simone’s house, after all she is the mayor so I had to list out the amount of taxes she had receive.
Something like a Poll questions: a) Do you think Erica should move back to Xander’s?
b) Do you think Alex should move to Passion Island to be closer to his kids?
Thank you for reading and sorry for the poor quality!

Poll question 1: NO! And she shouldn’t let him pick out names for her babies, either.
Question 2: Eh, I could go either way on this one.
Six babies, jeez. I would never play this household again! Holy crap, wait ’till they are toddlers!
karen: I could understand why you react to that so strongly. I’m in a dilemma whether to let Alex join the community or not, he was such a sweet daddy. Six babies is such a headache, they poop the same time and cry for food the same time, driving me crazy!
