Jacksons: R2- When You Thought You Are Over Him
Warning: Nudity and depressing contents. I change my writing style for this update due to my inability to conjure Crystal in my brain. Forgive my crappy writing skill.
At least life was easier compared to the first three months she moved out from the mansion. She had become close friends with Tara Green down the street. Her constant calls to chat had make Crystal’s single life easier and more tolerable. She had grown to trust and care the other woman better. Which make Crystal unsure whether to tell her what Blade Arpan had seen at Erica’s. Telling your friend ‘your husband was seen hugging your neighbor’ wasn’t a pleasant task. So she always ended up telling Tara to spend more time with Hunter. Dinner as usual was dreadful but today it was even awful for Crystal. Simone Passion called and told her that she is pregnant with her boyfriend’s baby and she sounded happy. But what make Crystal lost her appetite was Janice’s call, she told her that she is currently pregnant with her lover’s child. Her word brings discomfort and a chill to her heart. Was Janice’s lover Heath? She does not know, Janice never mention the guy’s name in all her conversation with Crystal. Tara never mentioned any news about Heath either for reasons Crystal could well understand. ‘What if Heath is the father?’ ‘What if he moved on and marries someone else?’ Both the questions kept repeating itself in her brain making sleep a distant dream. It would be wrong to conclude that Crystal was too desperate to let go of her past with Heath. She tried hard by going out with guys she knew from Blade’s social network but most usually end with a polite good night kiss. Except Alex McLennan, who is very caring and patient towards her. He understood her need to heal before leaping into a serious relationship. So far, they only flirted tamely with each other.
Erica visited one day as she had nothing to do at home after Xander went to work. Crystal invited her long time friend in and cooked nice break fast for both to share and catch up.Crystal told Erica the fact that Simone will take the job of a mayor right now until the island is develop enough. Erica seems alright with the news and even a bit relieved as well. ‘So, how much tax you have to pay this winter?’ Erica asked in between munching the delicious breakfast prepared by Crystal. ‘Only $231, I don’t earn much, I have to send the check to Janice this afternoon,’ Crystal replied nonchalantly. At the mention of Janice, Erica’s face paled. Her facial expression did not escape Crystal’s attention. ‘Tell me what you know’ Erica shook her head refused to look at her. Taking a deep breath Crystal asked the most important question that had bugged her all these while,’ Janice is pregnant with Heath’s baby?’ Erica nodded and add ‘There are some talks that he will marry her’.
At that very moment, Crystal felt nothing but deep emptiness and sense bitterness.
What happen next was crazy and unexpected to both Crystal and Alex. Without thinking, much Crystal fiercely kissed Alex and led him into her bedroom. All the while Crystal was thinking how unfair and cruel Heath was to her and she should get back at him.
She regretted it after Alex left.
‘What am I doing? Using a perfectly caring guy as a rebound? I can’t believe I am so stupid!’
After the encounter, Alex visitation to Crystal’s house became often although they remain polite with each other. Crystal had been ill lately but Alex had thought her change in eating behavior and her nausea bouts was due to the coming wedding of her former flame.
Until one day after dinner, Crystal’s stomach becomes bigger and rounder. Alex knew she is pregnant with his child and she had lied to him about being ill.
‘Give me some time to think about it, can you ho home first?’ Crystal said without any expression and ushered Alex out of her house and hopefully not her life.

Um yeah it was kinda unexpected that she slept with Alex. I hope she makes the right decision. Another nice chapter!
